“This is my favourite Spanish restaurant in Melbourne, although I have tried Movida and Bar Lourinha. The food is unpretentious, the bar is superb, and I am as transported back to Madrid sipping my Tio Pepe. The waiters are really friendly! I have been there several times now and selfishly I wished this remained a hidden gem!”

"Hard to believe you are still in Hawthorn, felt like I was in a lounge bar in Barcelona. Atmosphere and decor is spot on. Can be expensive but go for the tapas to share. The scallops and chorizo are winners. Be sure to have a mojito at the bar before dinner "

"The dessert tapas alone demand a visit to this buzzy little Spanish bar and restaurant, where chatter and Ibiza beach-bar music fill the dark wood, red-and-white room, even when it’s
half-full."
"Warm, brisk and professional service delivers to a clientele ranging from the groovy young bar crowd to more discerning diners. On warm nights there are pavement tables; otherwise, perch at the long bar or the tables down the back"

“Wow! What a find! Unlike the oily stodge so often served up as “tapas” in Collingwood, this is brilliantly balanced with the right amount of acid/spice/oil – delicately plated and showing some fine presentation skills. Booze is quality and the wait staff can be very accommodating with their suggestions. A brilliant oasis for something a bit different in the Asian saturation of Glenferrie Road. Ole!"
